THE INFLUENCE OF EARNING PER SHARE, PREVIOUS DIVIDEND PER SHARE, GROWTH, LEVERAGE, SIZE, BETA TO DIVIDEND PER SHARE ON TRADE AND SERVICES COMPANIES LISTED ON INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE PERIOD 2007-2012
The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the effect of earning per share, previous dividend per share, growth, leverage, capital size, beta to dividend per share. This study was improve consistency of result from prior studies. Sample of this research are Trade and Service firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange over the six years period of 2007-2012. By using purposive sampling as sampling technique, there are 7 firms met the criteria. The samples are analyzed using descriptive statistics and panel data regressions with fixed effect model to test the hypotheses. The empirical evidences of this research show that earning per share and previous dividend per share influence dividend per share, while growth, leverage, size, and beta do not influence leverage. Overall, the independent variables influence leverage simultaneously.Keyword :Dividend Per Share, Earning Per Share, Previous Dividend Per Share, Growth, Leverage, Size, Beta.
